About Sandy

Sandy Mollett (she/her) is a sought-after keynote speaker, culture coach, consultant, thought leader, community activist and corporate executive.  She serves as a voice and a champion for diversity, inclusion and workplace equity and equality.

 

She is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and a Certified Diversity Sourcing Professional (CDSP).

 

Sandy is the Founder & CEO of Equal Footing LLC .  Equal Footing LLC is a certified LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) and advocates for safe, diverse and inclusive communities and work environments where EVERYONE can thrive, grow and be themselves.

She previously served as the Chief Operating and Engagement Officer of Inclusivv (formerly Civic Dinners). Inclusivv is an engagement platform designed to provide companies of all sizes, universities, nonprofits and communities with the technology and curriculum to facilitate structured conversations, where every voice is valued. 

 

Sandy previously served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at True Diversity.  True Diversity worked exclusively with companies that are authentically invested in creating inclusive workplaces and transforming the way those companies attract, engage, and hire diverse talent.

She also served as Senior Vice President, Chief Operations and Controls Officer for First Data’s (now Fiserv) Network and Security Solutions organization where she led some of their largest strategic initiatives. As an advocate, a voice, and a champion for diversity, inclusion, and workplace equality she founded and co-chaired First Data’s Atlanta Diversity and Cultural Council (Employee Resource Group (ERG) Steering Committee). She was instrumental in developing and sponsoring their corporate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) -- with a goal of empowering employees, creating a culture of belonging, developing future leaders, more diverse recruiting, improving employee retention, improving employee engagement/productivity, enabling cross-functional teamwork, connecting/supporting business objectives and expanding community and market reach. Sandy also supported a team responsible for revising corporate policies that included anti-discrimination, gender identity and sexual orientation, gender neutral parental benefits and gender affirming benefits.

Sandy served as President of the OUT Georgia Business Alliance (previously known as the Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) from 2018 to 2019.  She is currently a member of the City of Atlanta Mayor's LGBTQ Advisory Board.  Sandy also serves on the Georgia Equality Board of Directors and the Out Front Theatre Company Board of Directors.

Sandy's coming out (at work) story was published in the Atlanta Business Chronicle/Pride Edition 2016. She was honored by Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) with the 2018 Diversity Leadership Award of Excellence (Enterprise) and by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the 2018 “Women Who Mean Business”.  In 2017 awarded by Georgia Diversity Council as one of 2017's "Most Powerful & Influential Women". Sandy was named as one of 2020's Most Influential LGBTQ+ Georgians by the OUT Georgia Business Alliance.
